A very warm welcome to you.
I hope you will find all the information you need here but please don’t hesitate to contact me if you need to ask anything else. I look forward to meeting you soon.
My dedicated counselling room is a stone’s throw from Tunbridge Wells Station.
I am an experienced BACP Registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist offering both short and long term counselling.
My work is bound by the Ethical Framework of the BACP.
In addition to my busy private practice I have been a counsellor for Mind (both voluntarily and as an associate), St.Peters and St. James Hospice and for Cruse.
I initially trained in humanistic, psychodynamic, intercultural approaches and CBT making my approach integrative.
I have an in-depth understanding of abuse and shame and how experiencing either can make it very difficult to seek help.
Since qualifying I have completed extra training focusing on Trauma, Dissociation, Anxiety, Self-Esteem issues and CBT.
I primarily work with adults on a one-to-one basis and will be available for couples counselling from October 2019.
“I really don’t feel that there are enough words to let you know how much seeing you has helped me.”
“I was very nervous seeking counselling but Michelle put me at ease straight away. My only regret is that I didn’t seek help earlier”
“Thank you for giving me the space to work things out for myself without judgement or pity”
